About the village

Community connections

At The Avenue Maroochydore, we're dedicated to building a vibrant community for our residents, both inside and outside the village. That's why we're building strong connections in the greater community.

A connected community is a happy community

In Aura’s experience, retirees are at their happiest when they feel a true sense of connectedness to their local community. We don’t want to create an ‘exclusive enclave’ within our village because we believe both our residents and community can benefit from shared experiences.

Consequently, The Avenue Maroochydore is focused on building strong relationships with local businesses, clubs and groups to provide opportunities for residents to stay active and involved in a range of activities in the area.

Here are a few who also share our vision:

Club Maroochy Bowls Club

Club Maroochy is one of the friendliest Bowls Club on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast found at Cotton Tree, on the Maroochy River. Whether it’s a quiet drink, catching up with family or friends, or enjoying a game of bowls, The Avenue Maroochydore residents are always welcome.
